What explosive? The one for the cement truck? I'm watching it right now, I missed the earlier one. What did you think about the house they blew up with bug bombs a few episodes ago?
Haha I loved that one! Where they were seeing if you threw a penny off of that building if it could kill someone. I thought that one was amazing that most of those pennies were caught by the wind and put on that ledge. BTW thanks mgman, they haven't set if off yet.
Saw the explosion but never figured out what myth they were debunking with that one!!! The show seems kind of a waste at times but its ok.... break out of jail with salsa who da thought?
Glenn
I loved the show with the JATO rocket mounted on the old car (was it an Impala?). Debunking the myth about Arizona highway scene where a guy supposedly launched himself into a cliff at 300 mph after frying his brakes. I think they got it up to over 150 mph, but no way the car left the ground. The ping-pong ball underwater salvage operation show was pretty cool too. The two guys are pretty goofy, however, and I wish the beret would take a hike.
I like the show and last night's explosion was cool. To me...the Mythbusters is one of the best shows on Discovery......sure beats the OCC and Boyd shows in my opinion.
Poor Buster sure gets the brunt of their fireworks. Good thing they didn't put Buster in that cement truck.
I liked the thing they did at the end, where they showed the first explosion *pink* and then the bohwemoth one *BOOOOOOM!*
That ROKKED! 850 lbs of high-grade explosive material...wish I worked at a quarry...
Man, I mentioned this show to my friends on the antique truck board..............and I just about got SHOT!!!
They were ****ed that they destroyed an old truck. I'm all for keeping stuff, but I was just amazed that the complete erasure of the truck with a push of a button!! Nothing left but the motor block and a short piece of frame.
