Personally I like the wooden cannon explosion a little better. Last nights was good, but when they blew up the cannon, they had the camera real close. You could easily see the parts flying.
Not 850 lbs of black powder, although that woulda been cool too.
850 lbs of COMMERCIAL EXPLOSIVE MATERIAL. BIG difference.
Not like it was even an antique truck or anything. Just a mid 80's heavy duty rig they had to jerry rig just to get it to work. Wouldn't even move under it's own power. They had to haul it wherever they wanted it to go. It ran, but the tranny or clutch was shot. It had CLEARLY been run hard and put up wet. If you know any concrete truck drivers, ask THEM how they treat their trucks most of the time...
I loved the show with the JATO rocket mounted on the old car (was it an Impala?). Debunking the myth about Arizona highway scene where a guy supposedly launched himself into a cliff at 300 mph after frying his brakes. I think they got it up to over 150 mph, but no way the car left the ground. The ping-pong ball underwater salvage operation show was pretty cool too. The two guys are pretty goofy, however, and I wish the beret would take a hike.
That one was cute but it is to bad they did not do it correctly. According to the messages I have seen it was 2 jato pack one on each side of the car. depending on the angle of the Jato Pac it is entirely possible to get it airborne
Saw the explosion but never figured out what myth they were debunking with that one!!! The show seems kind of a waste at times but its ok.... break out of jail with salsa who da thought?

At first they were doing the myth about concrete truck drivers that had a load of concrete (they kept saying cement which is incorrect!!!) that set up in the barrel, and normally if that happens, they have to go back to the plant and spend a couple days with a jackhammer to get it all out.. what they were trying to do is see if firecrackers and cherry bombs would do the job, then they got frustrated lol. And BOOM!

Poor Buster sure gets the brunt of their fireworks. Good thing they didn't put Buster in that cement truck.
I agree, I jused to be an OCC fan like watch it once a month, but it's not interesting any more. I figured they were going to put Buster in overalls and a hard hat and sit him in the drivers seat lol.
Didn't a couple whackos do the same thing with a Ryder truck with devistating results?? I really like the show however. I wanna make one of them frozen chicken cannons...
The thing is though, she knew she could get out at any moment, I could deffinately see me crying after being in there say 4 hours, even if I knew I could get out, and with a constant drip of water on my forehead. I think it would be very stressful. I would probably also be crying in there if it was real, and I was being forced there. And if it were real, I'm sure they wouldn't stand there with you, they would leave you in the room, maybe even a dark room, for say 6 hours or so, then come ask you the questions. I would most likely give up the answers.
These two have one of the best shows on TV. The frozen chicken one was a bit stupid, it seems obvious to me which one would penetrate further. You guys make me wish I hadn't missed this cement truck episode.
