I am restoring a 1969 F-100. I have a Warner T-18 transmission with a 3.25 rear axle. Does anyone know of a overdrive that can be adapted to this transmission? I am primarily interestd in increasing fuel economy. The truck will not be used for any heavy duty jobs.

Didn't say what engine that you will be using. An overdrive slows the engine speed down while crusing. A cheep way to do that is drop your rear ratio to 3.00 or 2.75 if your engine is big enough to handle it.
If you are running a 302 or 300 I6 later model trannys are available, but not much for the FE.
