what does everyone think of others vehicals
myself I like Dodge too strong trucks Chevys makes some sweet ones praying for a way to buy a S-10 myself them 4.3 liter motors ron and run forever and out run some good V-8 motors any thoughts
I've drove all of the big three. My father's '86 GMC/305 and '90 Dodge/318, father-in-law's '89 GMC/diesel, numerous Chevy's when I worked on the the highways as well as my own: '76 F150/360 auto, '73 F100/351W three on the tree, and my current '85 F150 that started out with a 300I6, then a 302 (oil ring went), then a 351W (took out the mains using a 302 flywheel), then back to the 302 which I rebuilt (.040" over flattops & ported windsor heads).
All of these trucks but a few have been 2X4's and when it comes to rough terrain, you can beat Ford's twin I-beam suspension. It will ride over things that the others fetch up on. As for motors, you can't get any tougher than the 351W in a small block.
