The only problem would be the bell housings on the transmissions are different on the 351M and 351W, so...you would have to swap trannies also.

I would double check to make sure she has a 351m. This was the year I thought they did away with that engine, or maybe it's a transition year. Ask her to count how many bolts hold the valve cover on. 351m would be 8 bolts, 351w would be 6 bolts.
