Does anyone have the Buick Rendezvous and if so can anyone please tell me what you thank of it? I am looking for information from someone that has one or brove one.
Yes I am a Ford Truck Lover but also a Buick Lover.
What kind of gas mileage do you get with it? How does it handle? Have you had any trouble with it? I would like the PRO'S and CON'S on it?
All I know is, I just got back from the west coast of Florida, and the Rendezvous is now THE official New Car of old folks down there. Every other driveway in the "55+" mobile home parks seemed to have one of those things!
Hey, Buick sells a ton of 'em, but I just can't get past the not-quite-as-ugly-as-an-Aztek exterior.
A good friend of ours bought one of those last year. It kind of surprised me- She's 40ish, has a great job, and can basically afford anything she wants to buy. She was looking for a smaller SUV that she could take her two large dogs out in, but was comfortable, plush, and had all the whistles and bells her Riviera had (not a truck buyer, in other words). She shopped the highline import brands, liked the little Lexus, but decided the price tag was nuts. So far, she's been happy with it.
Note: she bought it slightly used (6k miles on it?), and paid something like $16K for it. Not only is she wealthy, she's a smart shopper too. (or maybe the two are related?)
i work at a dealer with vw and buick, repair wise we do very little warrenty work on them and most of the time only see them for very minor work, we did have 2 last year with all wheel drive that lost tranies and a few that had lower intake gaskets leaking anti freeze .but over all they are good sound cars.

this again shows we do build better on the north american side of the big pond. the rainier is one model i have only seen back for oil changes. the v8 and i 6 are both very strong smooth running motors. our customers love them, warrenty wise the biggest job i've had done in my shop is getting a radio repaired . look at them closely and you will see the trail blazer under the trim
