Yep, could be wind burn from a passing ape(s). This is especially true during mating season when those suckers are really hauling. Rumor has it that mountain lions are sparse in Texas because the apes eat them.

i used to post alot or reply but because of my typing skills and the fact that my fingers do not always say what my mind is thinking, i often offended people or they wanted to call me a troll, so i tried to limit my contribution. but i do like all the info i get by just viewing the threads.

later,
lee

No mountain lions here in armpit NJ. The only thing we have close is a stray cat or two. And they usually end up road kill. That reminds me, my significant other is cooking dinner. Gotta go, I'm hungry.

What's a mountain?

The highest point in Mississippi is only a lofty 800 ft., and that is way the heck up in north Mississippi. I suppose that they may have a kitty or two up there.

bodabdan: ok you got me. Where do I send the check. And as an added bonus I will also send you some of her recipies. Yum. Just remember to wash all the tire marks and oil and dirt off the ingredients before you put whatever you find in the pot. She also has a good recipe for a barbacue. You will like that the best.

My point exactly!

When we run up on road kill, we can it and sell it as potted meat.

Sometimes I post just on a thread I have nothing to offer on just so I get email reminders when the thread has something new on it.

Sometimes I post just to see if I made senior user yet....
