Why are religious threads not allowed?
I noticed the big religious thread is closed. I also noticed another somewhat religious thread was closed.
I think the general reasoning was, discussing different religious view points arose. Okay, so? Maybe I am way off, maybe I missed all the childish remarks that had to be deleted for one reason or another, I actually thought the threads have gone fairly well, without much in the way of too many childish comments, it did get heated but that is when people start opening up more, IMO. However, the topic did evolve on the big religious thread and would have to say everyone learned a thing or two about others ideas/view points.
I view off topic forums as places for others to vent/post about whatever, and if that topic happens to be religion and many people are involved or brought together, which I think is the purpose of a bulletin board, then what is the harm?
Bear in mind I followed the big religious thread and participated, so you can (possibly) understand were I am coming from.
Is there a reason why moderators and webmasters don't like lengthy threads? A post is a post, right?
I'm done, just had to ask.
There is way too much Redundancy in a lot of threads.
Hash gets Re-Hashed & then Re-hashed again creating a perpetual hashment between the hash marks
.There were many problems with people Preaching Their religion to others like they were trying to change each other.
