When will this end?????
F-350 2004 4X4 SRWCC 5 Speed auto, just turned 5k and has been in the shop since 300 miles non stop.
I just got my truck back from the dealer again and had the recalls done to my tranny and all new ball joints both mirrors replaced because they cracked, leaking seals, rough engine idle etc etc etc. got the truck back and after a day of driving it I was on the highway and all of a suddon the truck felt like it came out of gear and my RPMS jumped because I was driving 70 mph. Well I look down and see the engine light came on and my Tow/Haul light was flashing. I pulled over and shut down my truck and restarted it and went about 10 miles and it did it again.
I went to my dealership and they pluged it in and read the codes, and the mechanic said he was swamped and would call me later on in the day to tell me whats going on. He must have been really busy because I didnt receive a phone call.
What is going on with this POS, Its been in the shop every month for one thing or another and I sick of driving a ford taurus in place of a 45k vehicle that I paid for. I am ready to trade the truck in for a new truck, or go the hard route and get a buy back.

It sounds like you may well be on your way towards a buy-back...a person can only put up with so much.
Hopefully things will straighten out for you and your truck shortly...
