Good mix?...no?
I want a strong cruiser, original. 302, 3-spd, I kinda like the lt. blue
I was thinking, some aluminum heads, 4bbl (575 speed Demon), comp cams 270H if hydraulic, 270S if solid, (both of these are Magnum series cams with a power band of 1800-5800 RPM with .500" lift and 224* @ .050" lift),Pertronix Ignitor II w/ Flame Thrower II, and try-y headers with duals.
My biggest problem is that I cannot seem to find the port sizes of any heads offered. I know the best way to add power is to port match the heads and intake, but I would like to just get them matched right out of the box.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
possibly a Weiand Action Plus (idle-6000) port size (1.9 h x 1.12 w)
Still don't know the port size on an Edelbrock Performer Head (Idle-5500)
I should be able to port match these two, right?
about the cams, I like the solid sound, but it is a hydraulic block, any issues there?
any suggestions/comments welcomed
