i have an 86 f150 351w 4bbl.i recently put on a new timing chain.i lined up both dots on crank &cam shaftswhen installing the chain &sprockets.started
it up ,checked timing&was rite where it was before at 12 btdc.truck runs good except my gas mi seems to haved dropped big time.i was told i may have a slow pump eccentric due to being off a tooth on the gears of the sprockets.again truck runs great. if i am using more gas ,where is going?exaust is clean,oil is clean&no fuel leaks.whats up wnat this? anybody ever hear of such a thing.thanks
