Truck won't start
89 F250 300 I6. Engine rotates but will not start. Thought I may have had bad gas; drained tank, replaced irratic fuel sending unit and in-tank fuel pump and filter. Checked fuel injectors; all are working. Replaced O rings, fuel regulator, and distributor. New heated intake sensor and coolant temp sending unit. Checked and adjusted timing, 10 degree BTDC. New cap and rotor button. New ignition coil, getting fire. After replacing in-tank fuel pump and new gas it has started several times with no problems, but it left me stranded again.Recently checked fuel pressure before replacement of in-tank pump; 52-58 psi at fuel rail but would lose pressure in about 1 minute. That is when I replaced the regulator. I was wondering if it could be the ICM or the high pressure fuel pump on the frame rail.
Any help would be appreciated.
