Lug stud help
I have a 96 f-150 4x4 and the other day I had my drivers side rear tire come loose and mess up the lug studs. My question is do i have to remove the axle shaft or is there enough room behind it to drive out the studs and replace with out removing the shaft. Thanks for any and all help in advance.

I have a 95 and I took a look at it and the manual.It looks like you won't have to pull the whole axle out but maybe just partly out.And in that case you might as well take it all the way out just so you can maybe use a press or hammer.

Well i dug into it last night and found out that you do not need to pull the shaft. Just rotate the axle till the stud you want is in a clear place and will not hit any of the brake part and hit it with a hammer.
