Johnson seemed a little dismayed that he ticked off Stewart when he "blocked like he was susposed to". He should have known what was going to happen after the finish line!!
Agreed, when Stewart went high, Johnson went up to block, Stewart dove down, and it looked to me that Johnson Chopped him pretty good...kudos to Stewart for keeping it straight when it looked as though he was going to be a pinball. He had a great save the day before, almost looked like Big E, back in the Wrangler days...
Personalities aside, Stewart is a great driver as is Gordon...if they weren't you guys wouldn't be bitchin about them...
Sorry, no brand loyalty here..I just admire the talent..
...Don't care for Gordon, but he is talented shoe... I respect the fact that both Gordon and Stewart can pilot other types of race cars...
...and that Gordon knows ALL the words to "Send In The Clowns," as well as the difference between "mauve" and "taupe." Yup, I'm bettin' that "door" will fly wide open one of these days...
(Hey, somebody had to say it; we're ALL thinkin' it, right? )
I'm just glad the race season is officially started; can't wait to go to Bristol in a few weeks;
Blocking or no Blocking; chevy push chevy; chevy push ford; ford push chevy doesn't matter;
I do believe the outcome of the race would have been much different had the #18 B Labonte and the #15 M Waltrip not 'blowed' up;
glad no wrecks with injuries occurred.........lets go racing
boogity, boogity, boogity.......oh I can't believe I did that
aw come on 1956MarkII.., Jeffy's just misunderstood is all, he is really a swell guy
Don't care if he runs or walks out of the closet ....can't take his ability away from him..
I remember seeing him run dirt tracks back in the day...just awsome....and I don't even like the guy......

Seems you know those colors yourself and the correct spelling ... hmmm i wonder
I've come to the point with the racing that I only now watch about the last 3 or 4 laps . I've found I can live without the other multitude of laps of almost equally matched cars going around in circles to jockey for position to crank it on for the last 1/2 dozen laps .
Great finish though and it looked like the driving told the story for this one . Also nice to see,as someone already mentioned,a race without serious injuries any where .
If I want to see injuries I will start watching NHL Hockey again if they ever come back to the rink .
People like you amuse me...I guess thats why you sit in the stands and watch instead of participating.
Well...I'm not quite sure how to take that. Yea...I've been sitting in the stands since the 1960's watching at small dirt tracks, USAC stock cars at Milwaukee, sports cars at Road America and Meadowdale, assorted tractor pulls, as well as numerous drag strips including the Nationals at Indy. I honestly forget all the events I've attended through the years.

OK, not to make light of a crash or anything... but the wreck involving the Cat car (rookie here, don't know all their names yet!) was spectacular! Barrel rolls and then spinning like a top, that was frickin awesome. Even better, he walked out after it. The joys of modern racing....
I thought it was a pretty good race,,,and I thought K.Busch did quite well up there with all Chevys,,top 5 ,,1 Ford-4 Chevys, and he has matured alot in 2 years, and was in the top 10 almost all day.
Sorry to see Matt and Mikey,have an engine blow, also a couple more let go,,glad no-one got hurt.
