Vibration fix with Driveshaft?

What's up j jones,
Yes, my vibration was definitely torque sensitive. And it was only under light acceleration. The vibration was from 40 to 60 mph with the worst of it at 58. If I accelerated hard up through 60 I didn't feel it, but if I came up slow or drove steadily at that speed, the vibe would rattle the change in my ashtray and you could feel it in the floor, seat, center console, and steering wheel. As for coasting with trans in neutral or in gear, there was no vibe.
I drove it to the golf course today along a road that I used to really feel the vibe and I'm happy to say I'm still vibe free from the latest fix!
Anyway best of luck to you. I feel all of your pain!

The driveshaft did not fix my problem, ford has a serious problem with some of the 04 05 150's My dealer agreed and bought mine back. since they were good to work with I then decided to buy a F250 PSD and love this truck. dont let them run over you tell them to fix it or give you your money back!!

They replaced all four tires. 5500 miles later steering wheel shimmy back, really bad......yesterday just got the truck back with the third set of front rotors now installed!!!!!I hope Ford has alot of these great new rotors in stock.
Vibration never went away, driveshaft replacement is sure looking good though.

In spite of a new driveshaft, rings and pinion, body mount kit, frame dampener, two new tires, I'm sorry to say I'm still vibrating. I am told the "buzz" is "to be considered a normal characteristic of the truck at this time." Also, yesterday Ford headquarters extended the tire warranty coverage for "tire vibration, ride harshness and uneven or rapid tire wear" to 36,000 miles rather than 12,000. I'm so disappointed to say the least... Dan Stiles
