360 Intake bolt torque?

Help me out, Please. Whats the intake manifold bolt torque for a 69 360. I have an old Clymer book, but they left that little bit of info not.

I think the SPEC is about 25ft-lbs.

But, I've never felt like that was enogh to get everything sealed up. I go about 40 ft-lbs for my own sanity. This is one of the many places FEs like to leak.

According to Chilton's it's 32-35 ft lbs. I'd have to agree with gtex, though.

Are there any places FE's don't like to leak?

if i remember right its a 3/8 bolt dont torque the bolts past 35 for a grade 8 it may seem to be tighter but it is extremely weakened they break at 42ftlbs. their max clamp load is at 35 so thats what i would do but thats me.
