fog lights

hi fellas i just got put some new fog lights in my truck. i ran the hot wire with the low dim lights that way when i turned on my brights my fogs would turn off. now neither my low or my fogs work and there is no wires cut. is there some kinda of fuse or something that maybe could have blown. im out of ideas. thanks

Could be a fuse. Depends on what year truck you have. If you ever figure it out, you need to add a relay in there like this.

fogs

i have a 97 f150 i thought that if i ran into the low beams that i wouldnt need a switch but i guess i was wrong. thanks alot

You don't need a switch. All you need is to install a Relay so the fog lights don't overload that circuit and blow the fuse.
