spark plug removal

I bought an 86 f250, 302efi. I think it still has the original spark plugs in it. They seem very hard to remove. I don't want to remove the threads from the head when I remove the plugs. I sprayed wd40 on them to soak, any more ideas?

I use PB Penatrant its gets into the threads much betterthen WD-40.I use it at work on older steam boilers that have been rusted like they are fused. Works wonders sometimes takes several applications ov a day but for the next day comes apart with ease.I use it on all my trck applications that are rusted.

I agree about that spray. It works much better than WD40.
Also Spend the extra $1.00 for that little packet of anti-sieze for the new plugs threads when you do finally get to put them on. This will help alot when you remove them the next time.

Good luck!!!

thanks guys, the wd did work this time, I am an avid user of anti- sieze. The plugs are the originals from 86. the truck has 80,000 original miles on it.
