uh, that was 2 years ago man.

 

So it was.... However, the 390 is 40 years old and there are still new threads asking how to make 400+ horse out of it. I'm sure the parts used in Jan '03 will still make a hot 390.

 

I know, but it's been posted here before numerous times, thats all I was getting at.

 

I hear ya. Maybe we can get it or a similar or better link posted in the "read first" area.

There's an idea.

Another idea would be to create a sticky thread with proven engine build combinations. Including pistons, head, intake, cam combo type stuff with their torque/HP ratings. Though there is a thousand ways to build one motor, it could give a person that is new to FE's a proven way to build the motor the way they want. I know I was there not too long ago when I started to rebuild mine.
