Well folks, the Kia dealership here in Sumter SC had a huge inventory reduction sale this week. Me and my wife have been in the market for a new car. I was stuck with a 97 mercury sable from my previous marriage, and already had plans to trade it in on a new dodge magnum for my wife later this year. Well, we went to the dealership on wendsday just to see what they had. No magnum, but they did have one, and only one, truck. Well, after looking at it and me and my wife test driving it, we decied to go ahead and see what they could for us. After a couple of hours, i went home, grabed the old merc and drove off in a 2000 F150 XLT 4wd. Has 67K on the odemeter, and the truck is in immaculate condition. I did a little research, and blue book is 23,000 bucks. I walked away paying 16,000 for it, and they gave me 2000 trade in on the merc. Considering the tranny in that POS was shot, I got a sweet deal!! Very happy with it, and as soon as I can, It will be put in my gallery!!
Congratulations on the new family addition. BTW, I picked up and laminated a North Georgia Mountian map for you and the wife to enjoy that new 4wd with. Advise by PM where to send and I'll drop it in the mail. Glad you're back safe. Thanks for your service.
