coilovers

I'm looking to do coilovers for my bronco and the most reasonably priced ones i can find seem to be from Fox. My problem: How do I know what size is going to do what... I mean it shows how much travel they have but how do I know how much lift it is going to give my truck... all they say is like 12", 14", 16" etc.

the lift will be determined on how you mount them, and where you place the mounting brackets. On a bronco you will want the longest travel you can get, and for the proper weight you will have to determine that by means of a scale is the best but that is another issue.

if it is 16" of travel and not 16" of total length then yes I think that would suffice look at it this way how much travel does a set of lift shocks have? that is where you want to be the problem with coilover springs is the measurement they are giving isn't travel it's the uncompressed length of the spring.
