Front Spring Opinions

I'm to the point where I need to decide what I should do for my front springs on my 2x4 to 4x4 conversion of my '67 F100.

Should I run the stock springs, and just make my spring hangers lower to get my lift up front, or should I just buy lift springs? I already have new Skyjacker rear springs (4" variety for a '75 Hi-Boy).

Any ideas or opinions would be appreaciated!

It's mainly going to be my hunting rig that'll see alotta mud and snow, but I would like it to flex enuf to do some mild rocks on occasion.

Thanks

I would say it comes down to if you have money to spend on new springs or not. It would be faster and easier to buy the matching springs for the front. But if you dont want to fork out the coin it is cheaper(but more difficult) to fab different hangers. Personally i have the inverted front springs and im going to find a set with more arch of a F-350 at salvage and save some money that way..

I have to fab up the front hangers anyway since its a 2 wheel drive conversion. I've already fabbed up the hangers, but plan on re-doing them and making them beefier. I'm using LP Dana 44 as my dummy axle until I get my Dana 60 or a HP 44.
