Well I just bought another old truck, about the 10th junker now lol. Anways its a 1953-55 ( not sure of the year yet) Pretty good old truck, solid floorboard and rear cab corners. My problem is the truck was wrecked at one time from the front side and both the front cab corners are dented as well as 1 has rust in it. Where can I find front replacement cab corners? I know they make them because ive seen them a thousand times. And as always, thanks for the help!
You can get front cab corners at Mid Fifty, Dennis Carpenter, or National Parts Depot (I'm sure there are other places but these are the ones I know). I got my from Dennis Carpenter and have be really happy with them. Ritchie.
I got mine from Dennis C. I'm thinking it was becuase the went up on the cab a little higher (15" ? I believe) However, the passengers side was not stamped out correctly (had a pretty good crimp). I attempted to fix , but made a bigger mess. I called and explained the problem and what I had try to do, and they replaced no other questions asked.
Thanks for all the quick repies. I found some on mid fifty's website and they have the tall patch panels ( goes from the bottom all the way up to the seam of the cowl). I like these tall ones the best because the fenders were pushed in from the side impact and thats what caused the dents in the first place. So at 85 dollars a piece I will gladly buy 2 of them to fix a cab with good floorboards and cab corners. Thanks again for the help guys.
