I just got the Aerostar 95 white, XLT and i recently noticed when i take turns a little quick i hear like there is somehting CRUSHING in the front or the back i havent fount it yet, and it is ugly to hear it cause i dont like the sound and prob the damage the van has. could someone help me
That crushing sound more than likely is the front Dif bracket. It is more than likely broken or cracked. Tomorrow crawl underneath and take a look. It is a weak spot on the Aero and a common problem. If it is cracked, you can weld some metal in to re-inforce it. If it is broken, more than likely you will need to replace.
"If" it is fixable, I would not pay more than $45 to have a shop weld in some metal to re-enforce it.
But from your description, it sounds like it is toast and needs replaced. You will have to check with Ford Parts for the cost of a replacement. Once replaced, I would get some more metal welded to it so it will never go out again.
