1966 mirror brackets needed and speedometer cable

Hello, I am curious if anyone might have a spare set of mirrors or brackets for the mirrors. The mirrors I am writing about are the ones that slide into the slots in the door.

Also, I am in need of a speedometer cable for a 390 3sp od 4:10 any luck???

THANKS!!!

Is the cable for a 3 speed manual tranny? And what year is your truck. I have a 66 with this factory setup. Actually I think it is a 360 or maybe even a 352 but it is still in the truck.

I got a speedo cable for $17 at Autozone for my '64. *I* had to look in their parts books to find it because the kid didn't know how to. That cable was correct but the ends of the core were crummy.

They also sell a kit to replace only the cable core, it is just ~$7

The replacement core should be available at alot of places. Believe me, I tried a real auto parts store before I resorted to autozone for the cable...

The core is good, I actually am dealing with a "new" truck and the guy had duals put on and never had the cable supported to "go"over the pipes and well, It's melted. lol I bought this truck from the original Family. Father(grandpa) to his son (father) to his son. The kid I bought it from did alot of southern engineering.

Southside Obs. Faribault, MN 1-800-866-1310

Both show 1 in stock. Call them up and see. Give them part number C5TZ 17260-Y.

I've gotten a few pieces this way and they were priced ok. I got a NOS manual windshield washer kit and to me it was cheap! Call them and see. You can always decline if it's too much. Call both and see who give a better price.
