You can add an amp to any head unit. There are convertors on the market that will take the speaker level output from an existing radio and adapt it to the line level input used by amplifiers. In fact, many amplifiers will accept both line level and speaker level signals. Any stereo place would be well aware of this. Looks like you need to find a more trustworthy stereo shop.
Why don't i see my thread on the Audio/Video forum? I posted this question 3 times and none of then i can see. I did get a reply from morcutt, how he found it i don't know.
I'm sorry for posting so many times, but i still don't see the threads i started.
I see 'em, 3 out of the 5 last topics looks like they were posted by you.
Yeah, that car stereo place you went to was probably tryin' to get you to spend more $$$$, sales guy was probably paid a commission on it. I can't see how someone WORKING for a stereo shop would tell you something that bogus. Morcutt hit the nail on the head, go with the line converters, They're cheap and they work great.
If it wasn't for the e-mail i wouldn't see no replys. I thank both of you
Thanks 2000silerbullet, this guy is a young kid trying to take this old mans money and it didn't work and they lost a sale.
I still can't see my threads and its been two days. All i see is the same threads over and over
