R&R Heater core; disconnected bulkhead wiring harness under hood.Going inside to bulkhead wiring connector, pulling on handle to disconnect harness, will not come disconnected. All three connecters were loose under hood. Pulled instrument on right side back far enough to bearly have room to get the core out. Why wouldn,t the connecter come loose!!! any body have this problem!!
If I remember right there are some tabs that hold the connector to the firewall. I think you have to release them from in the engine compartment.
T/U I toke a small L shaped flat tip screw driver and worked on them too. I just pulled out the rignt side with enough room to get top of heater box. really made it go back together easier by not coming out as far as lining up. thank you again. Billy
