Thumping Noise When Cold
I have a '95 PSD and its been fairly cold in the morning the last couple of days, which makes starting a little tougher. Most mornings it comes right up, others it'll chug along for a few seconds then crap out. Nothing out of whack with that, but sometimes when I am driving a few minutes after starting in the morning there is a thumping sound coming from the engine. If I put the hammer down it stops, but if I have it around 1200 rpm it gets really noticable. And there is a noticable hesitation when I get on the throttle. Kinda sounds as if something is bouncing against the tire(closest thing I can think of for reproducing the sound in text format)
Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to cure this?
