the shackles are about 6", and im going to brace that shackle mount too. im done with the front end untill after i finish my tranny/tcase, and my rear axle and suspension, than its back to the front to finish that up.
I dig the front spring hangers. Pretty good deal moving that axle forward. I'll do something along the same lines for my trail rig. Keep us posted on how your rear shackle assembly does there. Are they boxed at all and we can't see it or...?
the rear shackle mount is boxed at the frame, but im going to box the whole thing in later on down ther road. i just got off the phone with ORD ordering the doubler!
the only reason i didnt get stazworks is becuase im ready to just be done and drive my truck again. hah. i am well aware that the stazworks doubler is cheaper, and you can clock it at any angle. but the ORD doubler comes all together in its own kit and the three stick shifter. when it gets here i can just spend a day putting it all together. where as the stazworks doubler i would have to spend more time finding how i liked it, get it welded, then figure out some shifters for it.
