'67 steering flex coupler

Hello everyone.

I am having trouble finding the flex coupler for my '67. None of the local parts houses have it (and truth be known even know what I am talking about), and even web searches come up nil.

Do any of you know where I might be able to find this part or have it replicated? If found, I am going to get two of them so I never have to fight for this part again.

Also, apparently the blinker unit is unique to this year, and I can't find that either. Any ideas/suggestions?

Chris

I'd try Joblot Automotive, Inc. Ford Parts Specialists
Address: 98-11 211th Street, Queens Village, NY 11429
Phone: 1-800-221-0172 or 1-718-468-8585
They are great people to deal with.

Place for parts

National parts depot has the flex coupler. Looks like they have the turn signal unit too. They have lots of stuff for it.

Mike, you have alleviated untold grey hairs and bitten nails. I actually found the part there! Thanks for the direction. I was about ready to just sell the truck and be done with it.

Chris, The part is aka a rag joint, most parts houses do have rag joints, even when they run out of the flex coupler.

Jo, I actually looked for that part as well, but unfortunately I illicited nothing but dumb looks for either that or the flex coupler. I am thinking that Colorado Springs is not the parts hotspot of the mountain states.
