99 expedition brake problems
I have a 99 expedition 5.4L, 4x4, tow package, etc...
Pulled a huge, heavy trailer cross country, as well as just drive the truck in general hard, from the snow to deserts. stock pads and rotors lasted 80K miles, totally done. Dealer put new pads and rotors on and I sold the trailer shortly after. these only lasted 30K miles and to tell you the truth, I beat the crap out of the original ones and babied the newer pair. Dealer said only last 2K miles left.
Has anyone else had this problem, is there a better aftermarket rotor and pads I should use instead?
