Does the MN chapter have a logo?

Just wondering. Been talking over in the MO chapter helping someone with Photoshop creating a logo for the chapter.

No we don't. But having one can't hurt.

Well here's one I whipped up today.

http://aobllc.com/ranger/mn_fte_logo.jpg

It's a starting point. If you have ideas for what you'd like to see, drop me a note and I'll try out some configurations.

Later, got to get back to work.

Nice job Ranger...

I think any logo for the Minnesota chapter should somehow include the fact that Minnesota is the home of Ford trucks. Just my .02

Home of Ford Trucks, or home of Ford Rangers?

I thought the only plant was the Ranger plant? Is that incorrect and if so, what other trucks are made in MN?

Didn't Ford build full size trucks in St. Paul back in the 60s or 70s? I seem to recall that. And...isn't the Ranger a truck?

Well yeah a Ranger is a truck (I own one). It would be a bit contrite of me to say that MN was the home of Ford Trucks, meaning all trucks are made here.

I was looking for clarification.

I just figured it would be simpler than trying to be exact about which trucks...

Gotcha.
I'll try to work in a ford plant logo in there too (like the one they put in the windows of trucks made here).

I think the logo looks pretty good. As far as the trucks being built at the plant.....I have taken at least one tour through the plant and remember seeing the car photos of what they had built there. I beleive up in through the 60's and 70's they were building some of the larger cars like Galaxies. I think somewhere in the 80's they went pretty much to trucks including Ranger's and F series both. I think in either the late 80's or early 90's they went exclusively to Rangers. I read an article a while back in the paper that they might start running the Mazda version of the Ranger there as well.
