The 11000 under MSRP for me included all incentives at the time...I'd have to pull out the contract to find out exactly what it was.
I belong to USAA and they have a buying service...the catch is that you have to settle with what USAA agrees is a fair price. I asked USAA what is considered a fair price and they told me that they shoot for 10% or 15% off MSRP (I can't really remember). Before I agreed to have USAA negotiate for me I took that information in hand and went to a local dealer to see what I could get (in Louisiana). I told him I was on my way to Texas to look at another dealership that had the truck I wanted. Needless to say, he asked me to give him an opportunity to save me a trip....so I told him to give me his best shot. He came back right off the bat with 11000 off MSRP with no haggling. Since it was the truck I wanted and it was a better deal than what USAA shoots for..I bought it on the spot.
04 PSD Lariat FX4 with camper package (purchased March 04) basically has everything minus adjustable pedals, moonroof, and rear sensors.

It was real simple for me. I was searching for a couple of months, looking for the best deal, all by phone and e-mail. Picked up the Portland Friday paper and saw that a few dealers had loss leader ads for 10K off certain SD's. I checked those dealers inventories online and found one that had just about what I wanted, but it wasn't one in the ad.
So I called them and said if you'll sell me this truck at 10K off msrp, I even gave them the VIN #, I'll be in to buy it. He called back 10 minutes later and said it's yours for that price. It was mine by Sat. afternoon. The F&I guy then gave me another 1K off. I didn't ask why.
$1,000 under in-voice plus $500 AQHA rebate = $1500 under in-voice back in October on an '05. Took some time and feel like I got quite lucky. Found out later that my internet sales manager was leaving the continent and wanted some quick sales before departure. It makes paying $250 extra for AT rubber that I didn't get sting just a bit less.
For some reason, if you want the word "in-voice" to show up on the post, you need to put a dash in the middle or misspell it. It seems that the same goes for the word "t-i-r-e-s."

I paid 34,000 for 05 PSD,DRW, Long bed,Super cab, XL with Cruise control, A/C, Tow Boss package, Tow Command, Snow plow prep, upfitter switches, CD player, Cloth Bucket seats, molded side steps.
I ordedred my 2005 F250 XLT SC FX4 long box 6.0L and Torqshift in July 2004. It listed for $42500 and I got it for $38500, not great but picked it up on Aug. 31 and love it.
I got a 04 F250 XL CC long bed 4x4 6.0 5spd auto, cruse tilt wheel, 3.73 LS, skid plates, running boards, with a list price $38,000. I paid 30,500 in Aug. 04 and could have saved $1000 more with ford financing but my bank was better on the rate.
You guys getting $10-11k off sticker did very well. I live in Las Vegas and have been looking at 05s (250, Lariat, LB, CC, 4x4,.auto with heated seats reverse sensors, etc.) and the best any dealer will do is $3,500 off sticker, which is still well over invoice. If I could get this truck, which has a $48K sticker for $37-38K plus tax, I'd buy it in a second. I even told dealers about guys on this site and what they are getting and he basically told me I have no proof and he really didn't care. They are selling these at $3,500 off MSRP all day long. I even went in and talked to them about buying one through Ford's Z plan (plan for certain employees) and the price was only $7k off sticker.
Back in 2003, the deals weren't that easy to come by. Found an ad in a paper from Dallas area, said $8000 off the truck. I called , and they had sold the truck. But the salesman said I'll give you $7000 off any truck(PSD) in the lot,and they had about 100 trucks at the time. That was the year you could get the 7.3 and the 6.0. Got a 6.0 Lariat CC FX4 auto,L/S, two-tone,camper pkg,tow pkg,CD changer, adj.pedals, reverse assist, and some other goodies for 36,500. Sticker was 44 and change. I was happy.
i got our 04 6-oh excursion xls with tow package for $39,100 out the door. had it ordered and when it came in the msrp sticker was $48 plus. if that don't make you grin, nothin will.
2005 F250 PSD FX4 Crew Cab. $47,800 msrp, paid $37,150. Almost 11k under sticker.
Took a beating on my trade in of a 2004 POS F150.(nothing but problems) I lost 12K in 10 months of JOYFUL ownership. At least it was cheaper than my divorce.
I just bought an 05 F-250 Lariat, Crew Cab, 4x4 FX4, 6.0 Powerstroke, MSRP was $ 46,385.00 - Invoice was $ 40,982.08, with my Ford X-Plan it was $ 40,749.00 - Less the $ 2000.00 Rebate, was $ 38,749.00 - so $ 7636.00 off of Retail for me.
This truck is great, bought it for the new damn dirt road I live on - had to get rid of my baby though, a 2003 Ford Lightning that ran 11's in the 1/4 Mile, definitely not a dirt road truck.
