Exclamation Water light problem = New Flash

I am taking my truck in for a new flash because the water light comes on and off occasionally. I have the diablo programmer and this is my first time to take the truck in under warranty. I am reloading the factory program but I was wondering if anyone has run into any problems with the dealers? Can they tell you have had it programmed, is there any amount of times i should drive my truck before I take it in after putting the factory settings back on it? Any thoughts would be great.

Redneck, this issue has been researched pretty thoroughly. The answer is no, there is no trace left behind by the Predator after you restore the factory original. That being said, if you bring it in and report the fuel in water light has been coming on and off, there should be a code for P1139 Water in Fuel Indicator Circuit or P2269 Water in Fuel Condition code stored. If there isn't any code and there isn't a P1000 OBD Systems Readiness Test Not Complete showing the codes were cleared, it might make someone suspicious. So drive around a little until the water in fuel light flickers again.

Have you drained your fuel/water separator?

Yeah, I checked and drained it. The service guy told me there is a TSB out and he was just going to reflash the computer. I actually checked for codes before I returned my truck to the factory tune and it showed none. Time will tell. I took it in today and got a loaner til tomorrow. Hopefully there wont be any problems. I have aftermarket exhaust so if they want to be jerks they could start up about that.
