gas millage

help i need help my gas millage whent from 15-16 city down to about 10-12 i just had a tune up and runs mint today i am going to do a self test and pull codes andything else i should check??

Did the mpg go down after you did the tuneup? If so, did you use the right plugs and gap correctly?

no i did the tune up back in dec and in the last 2 weeks it started to drop today in about an hour or 2 i will check the maf and plugs to see if anything is out of place

well i just pulled the codes at first i got code 73 on koer test put when redid the test i got code 11 on koer and koeo so i think i can rule out a sensor

i think i found my problem i pulled one of my spark plugs and it was covered with a red and black kinda substance these are bosch platnum plugs

well after checking all the spark plug i onlt found one that was like that the rest looked brand new so i am back at step one i reset the computer and cleaned out the iac and that spark plug it had a slight skip when idleing but it is gone now i checked everything and everything is within tollerace what i found funny is i had the air filter off and while ideling if i even put 2 fingers within a 1/2 inch if the intake pipe it wants to stall out is this normal?? shouldent it compinsate for the air differance i took out the maf and was nice and clean is it possible that i have a bad maf sensor bc i think it should comindsate for the air differnce u dunno im lost and looking for someware to start

Did you change your thermostat recently to a colder setting? That will make your mpg go to crap in a hurry.
