straight axle conv.
Well I've finally done it ,bought a parts truck for the conversion. I have only one question. I have some conflicting info. on whether I should use the 80's style front springs and build a coil mount to attach to the 70's axle or go with the 70's style springs in the stock mid 80's upper coil mounts. From what I've been told the 70's and 80's upper mounting attachments are the same, and they do look very close. I have seen posts on the site for this conversion , but the info. is a bit fuzzy on the coil spring thing. any help would be appreciated.

I copied this out of the tech article on this website:
"It will line up with the coil mount but you have to use the 1978 coils because the axle mounts are different from the 1995. I then bolted the coils up."
