lights on steering wheel!
Call ford to see way my 2001 ranger has lited steering for spped control buttons, and my 2001 escape don't light up on cruise control.
My brother has a 2000 ranger, his doesn't light up, while a friend with a 1999 does.
It does not seem to be anything regarding types of packages.
Anyone know anything?

Try reposting your thread in the appropriate forums for Ranger and Escape. 
There is knowlege to be had if you look in the right place.
