Please don't pull out in front of me! I can't afford to play "What's this?" with you or your car.
Well, at risk of sounding like a dork, I collect sports cards(baseball, football and basketball) and other sports stuff. Autographs, photos and other stuff. I've been collecting cards for about 15 years now and have quite a collection going(about 20,000 cards). The nicest piece in my collection of stuff is probably the Mickey Mantle autographed ball. Working on getting a few more auto's now. I've also got a good size collection of plastic models.
I collect 'junk' that I find on the ocean floor. I've got gin bottles dating to 1860 and plenty of steamship memrobilia from the ships that traded up and down the west coast. Lot's of chinese bean pots, opium bottles and things like that from the turn of the century.

I thought for a few days before answering this one.
In my honest opinion, I collect TOOLS, and the SKILLS to USE THEM more than anything else. I have been like that since I had my first bicycle, not because I'm cheap, but because the things I always wanted to do called for a higher skill level than the average person had.
I've always tried to find ways to make new things, and god willing I will never change.
Hey mil1ion, interesting you mentioned the Beatles. I have a copy of
their first live recording. It was in Hamburg,Germany,1962 at the Star Club.Rather poor quality since it was recorded with a single
mic at 3 3/4 ips. The monaural tape was converted to 16-track master
by Lingasong Records and subsequently pressed by Pickwick.
i had to post again, i forgot that i used to metal detect when i lived in florida, sadly it's usually too cold here in Connecticut to motivate me. I still have it though and someday i'll get back into it. I collect that stuff that i find and also, it seems i collect knives, but on accident, i've had a crap load of them lol
Hotwheels, Matchbox, and other similar sized cars/trucks. Favorites are Hotwheels '79 F100 and very old Matchbox '68 F100. Probably have about 100 in packages and as many out of packages. With kids and wife's collections, our house probably has about 700 of these things and they are all over both sides of the pingpong table.
Ford truck ads, especially older ones. Earliest I have is '62.
Have a large insect collection I put together at college, but not actively involved in it.
I collect antique tractors. Mainly the Farmall variety with an Oliver thrown in there along with a McCormick. I have an extensive collection of die-cast tractors in 1/8, 1/16, & 1/64 scale. I also have a couple of 3 furrow plows (IHC, & Otaco) and an IHC cultivator that I have not dug out of my parents bush yet. I also have a 1978 F-250 4X2 in my collection.
