Thanks y'all for the help on the engtine swap tips, but I decided, since I got a good deal on a new engine that I would just put a new 302 in it!
Now my next question!
I have a set of 35x12.5x15 tires that I grabbed off a Chevy truck for a great deal, rims and all, (Chev 6 bolt.. nie wheels! for sale too, interested?) anyways I was wondering if these tires will fit under my truck with no trouble other than the odd rub against a radius arm or something? I don't care if they rub a bit, but I dont' want to ruin the truck with these tires!!
Also I'm wondering if ayone has or knows of some 15x10 wheels, ford 5 bolt with some real major positive offset? Thanks again for the help!
well on my 84 f-150 my 31X10.50 tires rub at extreme turns, i think that i can run some 33's without any major problems, but 35's would really be pushing it.
In case you call the tire store looking for wheels, you are going to want wheels with a negative offset. Just to let you know so you won't get in an argument with somebody. Front wheel drive cars have a positive offset.
