Are you talking about Class III or IV? I took one of my 78 F150 and bolted it to my 86 F250.

Ditto that. I swapped a DMI off a '78 F250 to an '86 F150.

The class 4 hitch from my old 79 F-150 will bolt right up to my 85 F-250, just as soon as I get the bumper out of the way, it hangs too low, need a factory bumper, not the drop bumper I have now.
