Mid-atlantic Chapter

Does anyone know why a thread can't be posted in the mid-atlantic chapter forum?

Yes, I can.

It is locked because there is hardly any activity on it.

It seems that people want to post things for sale or wanted ad's or just chit chat, instead of thinking of it as a group and Promote & Build FTE exposure for those areas in the Mid-Atlantic region.

It is one less chapter to have to worry about users using the chapter Just to sell things.

One of the jobs of a Chapter leader is to monitor the forum to let me know about thread to modify (move ,close, stick, etc)

The chapters were creted to take FTE to a higher level by people promoting not only the Site, but ClubFTE as well.

They were not created to allow users to buy & sell things within their area.

It's the other way around.Promote FTE & the regional FTE club setting & a BY-product of that is regular discussion, with wanted ad's.

How to get it re-opened is dicussed in other threads in this forum

Fix mid atlantic?

hey i know im new here but i was upset to find the mid atlantic forum locked
meaning i now have no local forum
this forum was a little slow moving however it did exist
now theres nothing

so heres the question
does it make sense to repair it?
how?
shouldnt maryland and the other "mid atlantic" states be separate in order to be able to organize more convenient meetings?
I may be wrong here but we need local chapters

I have replied why chapter's get closed
I won't leave them open for AD's or Chit Chat.

Those are considered a Bonus for having an active chapter

So, if you want a chapter for your state ......No Problem,

Do what has to be done to get your chapter re-opened or I will create seperate state chapters.

It is ALL up to people to be active.

I won't open a locked Forum until it is Guaranteed to be ACTIVE with ClubFTE {insert Chapter name} discussion.
