North Carolina Chapter

Does anyone know why we can't post on the North Carolina Chapter forum? Is it closed?

Yes, I closed it.

I re-opened quite a while ago to elect a chapter leader but, it seems people don't care.

ONE person was nominated & that's where it stopped.

All that information is in this forum form users to read.
In fact there may be a thread in that forum already with that info.

People can read but they can't post.

That's not entirely true. People and nominations were starting to happen, just a case of too little too late. Lots of us do care, but it is not really known what is expected of a chapter leader. What does he really do? Yes I have read the posts, and maybe I'm a little slow, but I still have questions on how to get it all started. So to say we do'nt care is a little offensive.

North Carolina Chapter Leader

I cant really get a clear picture off what is expected either. Today when I get off of work I am going to email some of the other Chapter Leaders and see what the job consists of.

As I stated last week, if we can assemble a small group for support, I would be willing to take the position as chapter leader. If there's not a whole lot involved, where I can handle it with the rest of my busy schedule, then I'd still be willing to at least try it. Just let me know what needs to be done.

As million pointed out to me, I'm ineligible to hold the chapter leader position at this time (I haven't met my 30 days of membership yet). However, I will help out in any way I can. I actually have a few ideas regarding a chapter logo that I'm going to put together over the next week or so. Anybody interested can email me at artj66@earthlink.net, and I'll forward them over to get feedback before we send it in for FTE approval.

I think it would mean a lot more to do it the way the other chapters in trouble handled this situation ?

That would be by e-mail, P/M's & possibly on our Live Chat.

Take his advice, it worked for the Indiana Chapter. We were closed for a while also. I emailed and pm over 40 members. Now we are on our way to a great Chapter.

I know I would like to be involved in the NC chapter but by no means can I be a leader of it. my schedule would in no way allow it. I can help out as much as I can when the time is available though.
