Please help........Fast....

I got a 96 f150 supercab 302 auto. I just went to shut off the motor and the key ignition just goes all the way back freely and does not shut off the truck .. It is like it is not catching or something.. IfI go like to start it it will kick the starter in but wont shut the truck off and it sticks a bit when engaging starter... Please help me as soon as possible. Whats wrong... Thanks alot.......

Plug up the air intake with your hand. that'll stop the engine. As for the key problem, there have been a few in this forum on that topic. Search around.
