2004 EB - relay clicking

Anyone ever run across this problem? It's very intermittent, but on my 2004 EB Expedition I've got a relay or something clicking very fast. The sound is coming from behind the dash down low in the area fo the climate controls. It doesn't appear to be affecting anything on the truck, but it's obviously not right. Haven't been able to figure out what system it's from. I thought it might be something to do with the automatic headlights, but manually turning them on doesn't change anything. I know a trip to the dealer will be a waste of time without being able to tell the specifically what's going on. Any ideas?

Boy, that's a stumper! "An intermittent electrical problem that doesn't manifest symptoms anywhere."

I don't know what to tell ya...sorry.

Relay Click

I have the same thing on my 2004 EB. It normally happens when the auto headlights turn on. I think it is normal.

Mike-

I think it's something to do with the headlights also. It's not normal though. Normally the relay will click once when the lights turn on or off automatically. Imagine that same noise, but clicking on and off about 20 times rapidly, and that's what I'm hearing.
