Ok the engine runs as I found out today at last anyways it will need a new battery as the one I used to test was just "borrowed" from another car however thats taken care of or so I think as I'm going to put in a more pricy stereo system (which means more power in the sound) which includes this for the system specs: 2000 watts for sound and cd player plus a 200 watts RMS at 4 ohms or bridge them for 500 watts amp now what kind of battery should I get (as I would like to have the system on when the truck is'nt running at times) the next quiestion is a good lift kit (it is a f250 1986 single cab) whats the best one at a decent price (my current spending funds per week are going to be between 275-375 if that can help any) o and of course I'd like to change to bucket seats later on but I can live with a new bench seat if theres any with good quality(I know that using bucket seats is much better for anything even in a truck one of my pals has bucket seats in his f250 with an extended cab and we can do all sorts of things with it but not as many things of course he loves his for mudding so the bucket seats helped over those bench seats) and there is my tail gate issue I was givin a new tail gate as the one that was on the truck had a tree fail on it during the previous hurricane thankfully the only thing damaged was the gail gate as it was only a branch I've checked over it, anyways the tail gate I have now the slot that slides onto the ball so to speak is to small should I flair it our just buy a new "ball"(drivers side)? O and one quick thing I was told to use a stereo kit (for the player itself) so I purchased one to put in however even tho it says it works for this model truck it wont fit the dash board any ideas on whats going on or what I dont know about? There are a lot of other things I would like to do but these are the things I find that have topped my list, thanks a bunch!

 

As far as the battery, The Optima Yellowtop has been a good choice for audio gurus. I'm guessing you have a 4x4?

I want to also put in bucket seats (or something else nicer than what I have) in my F-250. I've been told that seats out of any F-series from 80-96 will bolt in, so you could browse through that. Otherwise its custom seats for ya. Hope that helps at least a little.
