Engine Year?
Hello: I'am trying to get the year of my engine from the casting numbers on the block. Does anyone know how to tell the exact year of the engine from these numbers..... E1TE-6015-AA and any other info on the numbers would be neat too...Thanks Mike

That particular engine block was originally designed in 1981
it has had about 23 changes (slight modifications)to it
Look for sometime like this : * 2C24 *
This is the exact day of the casting.
The parts that have this casting are :
Block
Intake Manifold
Exhaust Manifolds
Heads
Find them and post them back here and I'll tell you the rest.
