Ever since I got my 2005 F250 4x4 shortbox supercrew V10 yesterday, I can't stay out of the garage. I'll go out and just sit in it playing with it like a teenager. The weather is lousy here in Iowa or I would be out driving it. It reminds me when I got my Canon 1Ds digital camera a couple of years ago, I slept with it on my dresser for about a month. If I could drive my crewcab into my bedroom it might be sitting on my dresser
Since I bought it off the lot instead of ordering it, the only thing I wish I would have gotten is the posi..limited slip rear end. I remember when I ordered my 1977 F250 4x4, I was able to order it with posi in the front and back. I don't think that option is available anymore.
Oh yeah, Woodhouse Ford had 223, yes 223 2005 F250 4x4 crew cabs for me to select from ON THEIR LOT! and 33 F350 4x4 crew cabs. I guess that calls me spoiled to be able to choose from that many
Yup, its normal, that truck you have is such a sweet machine it will take a while for the "new" to wear off. My 05 V10 is my 8th new Ford pickup over 30 years and it is my favorite by a country mile. Enjoy your new vehicle and good luck with it, Wrench.
No it is not normal....shame on you drooling in the garage... take that thing down to WalMart parking lot for the drooling and not mess up your garage floor!
Just get used to it.... I have a 99 V-10 CC 4x4 and after I wash and wax her and it's sitting out on the driveway at dusk and the color is just right sometimes I stand back and drink a cool one and stare at that good looking ride. My wife thinks I'm crazy and laughs but I still do it at least twice a month. I sometimes even start it up to hear those 10 turning......It's just a V-10 thing I guess, we are by far the proudest group on the web.....
i can't get rid of this bseg and stop drooling . gets worse if some one askes why a v10. now i have 2 guys at work who just ordered new v10 for them selfs. oboy did i start something,

Gotta go with Fred here...snap out of it, Photogman! Drive that thing to where others can see you with that...uh...ah...mule-eating-briars-grin.
And, go get a good limited slip unit installed. What's $600 or $700 to man with a new truck?
You think you like that v-10 now just waite untill you hook up to a loaded down trailer and find the passing lane , you cant help but smile at the chevy/dodge fans as you pass going up hill and not dropping a gear.I look forward to camping a lot more since I got my 99 F-350 v-10 4x4 crew. The bseg doesnt fade!!
I've had mine for 6 months and still have to open the garage door and as stated before have a cold barely pop and just admire what an absulute thing of beauty it realy is. I tell the wife that the garage gets musty smelling and needs to be aired out for an hour or so. I think shes knida on to me though. Women just DONT understand do they!!! Also nothin better than doing this after a fresh spit shinin where there isn't a dable of mud/dust/salt/ or road grime to be found. Seems absulutly normal to me! I don't think Its anything warrenty will cover any ways so youll just ahve to live with it, what a pitty!!!
I'm just jealous that you can fit yours in your garage and stare at it in solitude. I stand in front of mine and gawk at it like some retard, but since it won't fit in my garage (not even close), I have to do it outside where all the neighbors can see. I don't mind the Chevy guy watching me - we all know what he's thinking, but I'm sure some of my neighbors just don't get it....
