I am assuming that when you refur to cables you mean the speaker wire. it could be the head unit is bad, but if you have power to the rear speaker wires it could b that the fader control is bad(or turner to the front).

OK sorry if wasnt specific enough, ok i have the cassette head unit, and it only plays on the front 2 speakers, which are i belive 5 1/2in. then the mids which are 6x9 dont have sound coming from them, or the 3.25inch back ones either so i thought my head unit was bad and i took it out and put a panasonic 603 model, and no fly i got the front 2 again but the rest i got notting working. so i thought maybe it was the speakers and i got new speakers for the back
and it still wont work. all pioneer i am replacing, it is really wierd cause i have installed stereos for alittle bit over 8 months on my time, and it just has me beat. so what is wrong with the back speakers or the wiring? thanks inadavance
