if i go to change my cab this summer the cab i would be getting would be used and has no title, so could i get a replacement sticker that matches my title for my truck and put it on the new cab, or cut the meatal around the old sticker and weld in ton new cab or rivet. what do you all think?

We just went through this discussion on the 73-79 forum.
It depends on the state you're in.
Some states go by the body number, others go by the frame number.
The police officer on here said to go *by the Frame number* as the body can be changed numerous times if it keeps getting damaged(good point right?)
Check with your jurisdiction first before numbering.
The VIN# on the frame is located Right front top rail just back of the rad support.
