this may sound like a stupid question to ask, but if anyone could give me an idea on how much a shop would charge to install a lift kit i would greatly appreciate it. because i don't have the tools or location let alone know how to install it myself
Do you already have a kit,and if so what brand. If you take it to a shop you will probaly be paying a hourly rate, and charged the amount of time of the install took.
no i don't have it yet but i have almost decided on skyjacker. if you have any other suggestions i could use the help. i am looking for a nice quality lift and of the pics i have seen of other lifts the skyjacker appears to me to be better quality
Fab-Tech make's a sweet kit with new I-beem's to fix camber adjustment, and it's realy not that bad of a job.what ever lift you go with make sure you get the braket's to lower I-beam if useing OEM's.
that fab-tech sounds like it would be awesome but probably more than i want to put in to a lift, but thanks for all you help, and i will be sure to get the i-beam drop brackets
